Not my cup of tea by llKirbyXll Not my cup of tea by llKirbyXll
I tried to give this a calm, Japanese feeling to it. Kirby and King Dedede are peacefully having tea together. Dedede doesn’t seem to like it much, hence the title~ :P

That mark on the tea pot translates to “tea” BTW, to match the setting.

This is really good. :D

Like King Dedede, I don't like tea either. Well, unless cinnamon and sugar is added, that is.

Maybe it's too hot for him. Maybe he would like some sweet tea instead. X3

Sweet tea might be more like it. After all, in the English version of the anime, King Dedede does speak with that Southern drawl. XD

"O-" I can read. I'm guessing that Kanji means "Cho."

It's so adorable. Dedede would do that.

Together they read "Ocha" :meow: Very close though~

I mostly read katakana/hiragana. The other symbol I only know cuz of my half-Japanese buddeh pointing out the kanji when we went to this one cute cafe in Akiba. :XD:

... oCHA, how could I forget that, I even had Rosetta Stone to teach me this stuff.

I can read hiragana; I was an odd otaku once (I only obsessed over TWO animes, exactly two), but I got over it. So, reading Japanese is a leftover from those days.

Hey now xD that's better than a lot of other people. Could never learn much with Rosetta Stone... Doesn't really teach the sentence structures as much as it should.

I learned from my Japanese i/II teacher and from my friends over here. XD I'm more of a reader than speaker. And I can understand a good portion when being spoken to.
